EA plans to Acquire T2. Rockstar North contract ends Feb09 with T2. Can they split from EA after bought out?

Yes they would, the contract would stay. If the terms of the contract were made void, then rockstar would just split from T2 when it merged with EA. However, all contract terms still apply.
