A question for people who strive to use proper grammar and utilize their vocabulary?

Do you ever feel like most (or at least some) people are either: Completely misunderstanding what your saying or are spiteful of you because you have a superior mastery of the English language? I feel like the usage of good English is dying. I just think it's a shame that people who use it are sort of outcasts nowadays. I'm not trying to be snooty, I just paid attention during second period.
