What's the best way to get my new pet corn snake used 2 being handled?

We got our new pet corn snake last Friday, fed her sat & handled her 4 the 1st time on mon. I want 2 get her used 2 me, my smell, my touch etc. I know not 2 handle her 4 a day or 2 after feeding or during shedding. So far I'm trying 2 keep the handling @ a regular time of 8pm (evening time as snakes r nocturnal) 2 establish a routine if th@s poss. I'm washing my hands b4 handling (& after obviously), & I use the same kind of hand wash each time so th@ I'm not varying my scent 2much. I usually allow her 2 smell me, then gently pick her up (shes not yet comfortable enuff 2 crawl onto me on her own yet) & allow 2 climb over my hands/arms etc. Am I doing the right things? Shud I do anything differently? Any tips?
