Where to you draw the line with TTC?

We've been trying for about a year now and I'm beginning the tests with my doctor. My DH and I are discussing our options if these tests don't show any obvious problems, as often happens. Just out of curiosity, for those of you who are TTC... do you plan on go as far as IVF, surrogates, whatever? What factors into your decision? Serious replies only please!
