What does it mean??

when your longterm boyfriend starts calling you from a private number and stops keeping credit in his regular cell. he lives with parents and says it is his moms mobile, but even when he is at work he calls me from this private number. he is with me every night so i am sure there is no women involved...yet...and alls his mates and family call him to his regular cell.confusung.help??
