Transmission fluid for a 89 dodge dekota?

i just bought a 89 dodge dekota, and i have transmission fluid from my last car, its dex-merc.... on the fluid level stick on the dodge it says use dex II. does that include the dex-merc or is there a different kind i gotta get...
